В диссертационной работе рассмотрена проблема описания энергии локальных переходов и переходов с переносом заряда в различных молекулах с использованием нестационарного метода функционала плотности в приближении линейного отклика (time-dependent density functional theory, TDDFT). На примере моделирования спектральных свойств двух типов хромофоров (цианиновых красителей и комплексов цинка с основаниями Шиффа) показаны основные трудности, возникающие при описании энергии различных переходов и исследовании поверхности потенциальной энергии возбужденного состояния методом TDDFT. Исследуемые системы широко используются в качестве излучающих компонентов светодиодов, электролюминесцентных материалов и оптических сенсибилизаторов для регистрирующих сред. В процессе эксперимента часто происходит агрегация таких соединений (например, при формировании тонкой пленки излучающего слоя), поэтому при моделировании их свойств необходимо рассматривать спектральные характеристики как индивидуальных соединений (~50 атомов), так и их агрегатов (>100 атомов). Единственным методом, в рамках которого возможно с одинаковой точностью описать возбужденные состояния подобных систем, является нестационарный метод функционала плотности в приближении линейного отклика. Тем не менее, известно, что в расчетах этим методом с использованием локальных функционалов энергия переходов с переносом заряда и Ридберговых переходов сильно занижена, вследствие чего корректный анализ спектральных свойств в рамках метода TDDFT в подобных соединениях невозможен.
Благодаря многочисленным теоретическим исследованиям данной проблемы был разработан эффективный подход коррекции функционалов, в котором используется сочетание нелокального и локального обменных функционалов. Изучение влияния включения нелокального обменного функционала при разных межэлектронных расстояниях на описание энергии различных типов переходов позволит лучше понять границы применимости локальных, гибридных и скорректированных обменных функционалов.
Целью работы было исследование эффектов сочетания нелокального и локального обменного функционала в рамках метода функционала плотности на оценку энергии корреляции, а для нестационарного варианта метода - энергии локальных, Ридберговых переходов и переходов с переносом заряда. Для исследования мы выбрали следующие типы систем:
- простейшие двухэлектронные системы с локализацией электронов на одном и двух ядрах (гелий, молекула водорода);
- изоэлектронные двухатомные молекулы (СО, N2);
- молекулы с четко выраженным переносом заряда (Ш7, НС1, 14-диметиламинобензонитрил, №фенилпиррол, модельный дипептид и р-дипептид);
- сопряженные тг-системы полиацетиленовых олигомеров и аценов.
- молекулы неплоских хромофоров цианиновых красителей, моногидратов цинковых комплексов с основаниями Шиффа.
